Sonic Frontiers : What We Know So Far
As per the official website of Sonic, Worlds will collide in Sonic The Hedgehog‘s Newest Adventure, the Sonic Frontiers. It will be an experience like never before, accelerate to new heights and experience the thrill of high velocity open-zone freedom. Battle powerful enemies as you speed through the Starfall Islands – landscapes brimming with dense forests, overflowing waterfalls, sizzling deserts and more!
Theories & Overall Gameplay
SEGA’s upcoming new open world hit has got all fans excited. And what’s more exciting is that this game has been in development ever since the release of ’Sonic Forces’. That means it’s been in development since 2017. So you gotta expect the game to be pretty long to complete. It is also said that during every single boss fight in the game, Sonic transforms into his super form. This makes sense since the bosses are legit titans, they’re so big it feels like the final boss, but if the side bosses are already this big, expect the final one to be more than a Titan.
Also in the trailer we see Sonic run from a pink substance thingy, might be a new villain, might just be the old fat egg. But it’s more likely that there is a new villain, a villain so hard to defeat big old fat egg and sonic HAVE to team up, similar to the 2008 game everyone loved. No matter what IGN says, ‘Sonic Unleashed’, where we fight the ‘Perfect Dark Gaia’, and rumours say that the mysterious voice IS Amy, since in the subtitles for the trailer (now disabled) show that it’s Amy saying “Sonic, over here!”.

Sonic’s Model
People are all-over on Twitter about Sega copy-pasting the Forces model into Sonic Frontiers, when all they saw is literally sonic standing still on a rock, also with absolutely no evidence to back them up about this. If you put the Forces Sonic and Frontiers Sonic from the trailer side by side, it’s pretty similar. But again, it’s only the idle animation, we haven’t even seen his in-game model yet with gameplay, and what’s more is that the model could not even be final, they might change it in the actual release in Holiday 2022. But it seems that Sonic WILL have longer quills, similar to Generations. On a side note, Sonic 06 had the best model for Sonic.
