Infinix GT 10 Pro – Display & Build

Unlike the latest trend for curved build for glass and back panels, the Infinix GT 10 Pro comes with a flat design, i.e. flat sides, flat back, and flat display. This is a good move from Infinix, as for gaming devices, a flat display is always preferred to avoid those ghost touches while playing the games. The design of Infinix GT 10 Pro is unique and Infinix calls it the Cyber Mecha design, infused with a genre of Japanese manga and anime. The edgy design with a futuristic touch makes the phone look exemplary.

It comes with a glass black, but there is no information from Infinix on the type of protection provided for the glass back. At the back, this mobile also has multiple functional LED lights. Talking about the frame, it comes with a full flat plastic frame, but the build quality is good, even though it’s plastic.

Where-as at the front, you get a 6.67-inch FHD+ LTPS 10-bit AMOLED display with NEG protection. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360HZ TSR & 900 Nits brightness. It has a dynamic refresh rate, which means you can choose between 120Hz, 90Hz & 60Hz or you can keep it on Auto Refresh rate as well. It also has HDR 10 Support, so you can enjoy the premium content to its full capacity.

It also supports DCI-P3 100% wide color gamut, the 50,00,000:1 contrast ratio, 1920 Hz PWM frequency, 1 billion colors, low-blue-light hardware, and eye care certification which offers you sharp details in vibrant colors without having to strain your eyes. Talking about the bezels, all four bezels are quite thin, which means there is a very good screen-to-body ratio, viewing angles are also good, no complaints there.

Coming to Ports and Buttons, at the bottom, you get Speaker Grill, USB-C port, microphone & 3.5 mm audio jack. So all gamers there with their beloved gaming headphones with 3.5 mm connector, will be happy. On the left-hand side, you get a SIM tray, which is having triple slots, which means you can have two nano SIMs and one dedicated micro SD card, wow. On top, you get another speaker grill and noise-canceling microphone. and on the right side, you have the volume rocker and power button.

The overall weight of the Infinix GT 10 Pro is just under 190 grams.

At the Core

The Infinix GT 10 Pro comes with Dimensity 8050 octa-core processor which is based on 6nm technology. It comprises four ARM Cortex-A78 processors that deliver peak speeds of 3 GHz for outstanding performance. To add to this amazing setup, it comes with a nine-core GPU as well, which will handle any task effortlessly.

Normally the Antutu score for this processor is well above 6,50,000 which is quite impressive for the mobile in this price range. This means that you can play most of the games, (including high-end ones) on High-Setting with propper 60FPS continuously. Also, you can re-configure the volume up/down buttons as per your gaming actions preference.

It is equipped with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which adds to its gaming performance. Infinix GT 10 Pro smartphone has extended RAM technology that can add up to 8 GB RAM, thus making it to a total of 16GB RAM. This helps in the smooth running of background applications.

Battery

Out of the box, it comes with a 5000mAh dual cell battery with 45W fast charging, which they are calling Bypass charging, a fancy name. One of the cool stuff about this mobile is that the charger provided in the box has an L-Shaped type-c charging end. This is very useful when you need to change your mobile, while you are still concurring the critical stage in your game, and charging cable does not hinder your play. There are no official words on the screen time you can get with this battery, but as per the specs, you should be able to run a day without any issues.

Now as it’s a gaming mobile, long-hour gameplay will result in heating. Thus Infinix has provided a Vapor Chamber Cooling in this mobile to keep it cool. Device heating in this smartphone is controlled by a huge 4319 mm2 vapor chamber accommodating a powerful 11-layer cooling structure, which controls heating even when you play intensive games for extended periods.

Software Experience

The availability of pure OS in this mobile brings you a completely new experience. Offering no bloatware and eliminating all sorts of interference like pop-up ads, delivering a new ad-free system. Also, by reducing some of the pre-installed apps, you can free up your system space and enjoy an overall smooth performance on your phone. This is a great move by Infinix as in the past we have seen the previous mobiles from Infinix having a hell lot of bloatware. We believe that Clean-OS experience is a must for every user and which apps to install should be the sole decision of the user. Well done Infinix!

Out of the box, it comes with XOS 13, based on Android 13. Infinix has promised 1 year of major updates, which means up to Andriod 14, and 2 years of Security updates. Good to see that now more and more mobile manufacturers are upfront confirming the support they will provide for the mobile, which makes it easy for buyers on their purchase decision.

Connectivity

Talking about the connectivity part, the Infinix GT 10 Pro comes with 14 5G band support, which covers almost all key 5G bands in India. You also get Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, Dual 4G Volte support, and NFC as well, so all boxes are ticked. Coming to sensors, it has all major sensors, i.e. Accelerometer, Linear Acceleration, Gyroscope, Rotation Vector, Magnetometer, Gravity, Proximity, Light, and Orientation. Generally, we see that mobiles under Rs. 20,000/- come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, but the Infinix GT 10 pro has an in-display fingerprint scanner & face unlock as well.

Multimedia

Due to its superior display, media consumption on this mobile is too good. AMOLED display and very thin bezels make the user experience immersive multimedia. To add to it, it has dual stereo speakers certified by Hi-resolution Audio which are quite loud as well. It comes with Widevine-L1 support as well.

Camera Setup

The mobile offers a triple camera setup, a 108MP primary camera, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro. At the front, you get a 32MP selfie camera. The main wide-angle camera has improved image quality and HDR processing, in addition to the macro and depth cameras. The picture quality of your shots is further enhanced by the multi-frame denoising algorithm in fusion with AI algorithm learning.

Talking about Videos, you get 4K @30FPS from the rear camera, and at the front, you can go up to 2K @30FPS. There are multiple modes as well, like AI capture mode, beauty mode, Super Night Mode, portrait mode, Timelaps, Slow-Motion, Short Video, Dual Video, Panorama, Document scan, etc.

Other Key Points

The Infinix GT 10 Pro comes with IP53 certification, which means it is water and dust-resistant, splash-proof in normal words, but not fully waterproof.

This GT 10 Pro smartphone has unique mini-LED lights for five frameworks that include notifications, power on, incoming calls, gaming, and charging. In addition to blinking, you can choose from a range of lighting effects for your phone. The ‘Sound-to-Light’ option exhibits beautiful lighting effects that go in sync with the rhythm of the music that is being played. This reminds me of another mobile that brought these features first, if you got it, do name it in the comment section.

Pricing

The Infinix GT 10 Pro will be available at Rs. 19,999/-, but with ICICI and other card offers you will get Rs. 2000/- discount. So the effective price will be just Rs. 17,999/-. At this price, this is a steal deal with the specifications it’s offering.

Final Words

In conclusion, the Infinix GT 10 Pro mobile offers an impressive package with its powerful specifications. The 8 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM provide ample storage and smooth multitasking capabilities. The 6.67-inch Full HD+ 10-bit AMOLED display delivers stunning visuals.
