Continuing the Work from home series, lets check the Tablet which offers descent features and good screen, the Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus.
Build & Design
Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus offers Premium Metallic body with rounded edges. It’s just 8.1 mm thick and comes with narrow bezel display providing 87% active area. The volume/lock buttons are textured which gives good grip & are easy to access. It comes with USB Type C port which act as charging and data transfer port. It weights around 460 g, so not that light.
At back, it offers 8 MP AF rear camera with camera bump. Thus if you place it on plain surface, it will not be even to surface, making good back cover must if you want to get over the camera bump.
Display
It offers full HD IPS display (TUV Certified) with 16:10 aspect ratio. Color reproduction is good along with wide viewing angles. The 10.3” screen makes it perfect portable device for Web browsing, watching Videos and reading e-books. Screen brightness is not on higher side, thus slightly average Sunlight visibility, but no issue with indoor viewing (Anyway everyone is at home only due to this Covid-19, right !!!).
It has a ‘Productivity Mode’ under display settings which turns the bottom Navigation bar into Taskbar (Sounds familiar). Here are all your open apps appear as icons and can be accessed directly without going into overview mode. Also the standard navigation buttons are pushed to a corner, thus accessible via single thumb.
It also offers the Eye protection mode, which assist in reducing strain on eyes during long screen time. Thus you can read books for a very long time without straining your eyes. Auto-Brightness, Eye-Protection, Reading Mode and big Screen size make you feel like as if you’re reading an actual paper book instead of watching it on screen.
Performance
Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus offers 2.3 GHz Octacore MediaTek Helio Processor, 4 GB of RAM, 650MHz PowerVR GE8320 Gaming GPU, 128 GB of storage (expandable u-to 256 GB) with SD Card Slot & Android Pie OS. Thus making it good multitasking tablet. Also MediaTek Helio processor keep the system overall cool, allowing extended hours of use without heating the tablet for day-to-day activities. But if you plan to use this tablet for heavy graphics intensive AAA gaming then you will experience low frame rates and even device may get hot. But this is expected considering the price point.
It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi+4G LTE Support.
Pure Android 9 Pie OS without any Customized layer, bloatware or adware make it clean user interface. If you want you can install any other app launcher or theme, but nothing can match clean Android experience. Till time there is no update on the Android 10 availability or roll-out for this tablet.
Audio Experience
This tablet offers dual speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. Thus make everything from music and games to videos and podcasts sound and feel good. Sound output is not very high but sufficient to fill small room.
Battery
Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus tablet comes with 5000 mAh battery which as per manufacturer should last Up to 8.5 hours video playback or Up to 9 hours web browsing. So we can expect around 7 hours of battery backup with real life usage.
Camera
It offers 8 MP auto-focus rear camera and 5 MP fixed-focus front camera. Performance wise its average, not very fancy, but offers Security feature i.e. Face Unlock.
Kids Mode
With Kids Mode, your young ones can enjoy fun, child-safe content. You can also manage what they view and for how long. And even be alerted if someone is not sitting up properly.

Final Words
Overall this is good tablet which offers descent features and specifications, making it good candidate for everyday tablet, reading eBooks, watching Videos on Netflix/Amazon Prime, Web Surfing, Light gaming or good companion for Work From Home for Students to attend the online classes.
