Build & Design

Build quality of Lenovo Ideapad S340 (81VV00ECIN) is descent, it does not come with metallic body but made out of good quality plastic with metallic finish. Keyboard shows little flex, but it’s acceptable considering the price point.

It comes with 2 USB 3.1 port, 1 USB C port, 1 HDMI port, 4-in-1 SD Card reader slot & 3.5 mm audio jack slot.

Display

Lenovo Ideapad S340 offers 14” Full HD IPS display (60 hertz frequency) with anti-glare coating. It offers thin bezels on the 2 sides. Top side hosting 720p HD webcam with physical webcam shutter for better privacy. Display quality is very good for day-to-activities with Vibrant colors & better viewing angles.

Battery

It comes with 65 Wh battery which provide up-to 10 hours of battery life as per claim from Lenovo. So here we can expect around 7-8 hours of battery life.

Keyboard & Track-pad

Laptop features white back-lit keyboard with good key placement for pleasant typing experience. Track-pad provided is full size which supports all Windows gestures.

Audio

IdeaPad S340 offers dual 2W Speakers with Dolby Audio Premium. Sound quality is above average but not best as compare to other models in same segment.

Performance

Laptop comes with latest 10th gen Intel chip (i3 family) with 4 MB cache and AI hardware integration. Also it offers 8 GB DDR4 RAM & 256 GB SSD which give faster boot-up and quick application launch. Windows 10 and MS Office Home (Student 2019 Edition) is pre-installed on the laptop with lifetime license. It offers Intel integrated graphics, which supports casual gaming as well.

Due to the availability of 10th Gen chip, day-to-day activities are no issue for this laptop. Hence its best suited for students, frequent travelers due to its light weight and for Office guys for the features it offers.
